About this project
Filmworld cinemas is one the top cinemas in Lagos founded around 2021. It is young but has some of the best Google ratings and visibilities for cinemas located in Lagos.
Our job was to setup a cinema website with online ticketing capabilities. Second is to optimise the website online visibilities through Google tools.
It was an exciting experience building this project as it happens to be our first cinema project.
We have since been retained to manage the website, update booking systems and movie upload and general website maintenance.
Deliverables Overview
Website Navigation
We created simple menu system for the website. The menu items are arrange systematically to provide easy navigation across the pages of the website
Webaite Pages
The website has over 20 hidden and public pages and more than 300 movie pages that provides both information and accessibilities features that allow users to interact with the website.
Contact information
Contact infos are placed stretgically to help users to easily make enquiries. The system is automatically set to detect and repel spams considerably.
Mobile-Responsiveness
The Filmworld Cinemas website displays correctly across different screen sizes. Images are optimized to display as expected across all devices.
Products Upload
Movie ticketing system is enabled on the website. This means that products on the website are considered tickets and can be purchased (booked) by users with accounts. There are almost 3000 users with verifiable accounts on the website.
Call-to-Action
We have call-to-action sections and buttons placed strategically across the pages where they are intend to appear at making it easier for users to take actions.
Email Newsletter
The Filmworld Cinemas website has embedded and pop-up email newsletter which allows users to susbcribe to their mailing lists - a great measure for markekting, remarketing and nurturing.
User Registration
Users are provided with the ability to create accounts, log in to their accounts and manage their orders. They can also reset passwords and perform basic user operations on the website.
Payment Integration
The website has a functional payment gateway integrated. This way, transactions can be processed and tracked. We used the paystack payment gateway.
